Agreements made simple
Law is the code the society runs on. But legal code has grown complex and inaccessible, leading to injustice. We believe everyone has the right to understand legal code and easily make agreements.
We created Pact to decode the law and return it to the people. Pact is a legal intelligence platform that makes agreements easy to understand, negotiate and manage.
Discovery
Research
During the immersion phase, I worked closely with the founders to establish a shared understanding of the product vision and the MVP goals. Through a combination of conversations, competitive research, and industry standards gathering, we identified the main priorities for development.
We successfully created a clear vision, and a roadmap for the upcoming initiatives.
What I did:
Planned and conducted Stakeholder Interviews
Executed Competitive Research
Defined the Roadmap
Flow mapping
MVP
We identify the core features and functionalities essentials for the initial version of the product. We prioritized tasks and mapped the MVP flow to understand the interaction with these features. This layer of abstraction helped us eliminate unnecessary noise and prioritize the essential aspects of the product.
What I did:
Wrote User Stories
Created User Flows
Core UX concepts
Contracts Entire Lifecycle
Drafting, editing, negotiation, management, and signature—the entire agreement workflow— in one platform.
Modular Structure
Clauses are the building blocks of the agreement; each one is treated as an object and can be reused for other agreements. Clauses become actionable tasks in the contract workflow. Contracts can be templated.
Smart Data
Contracts are not only text; we treat them as smart code. Definitions, references, and clauses become structured data. Workflows, actions, and the agreement lifecycle also become intelligent through the dashboard and repository.
Focused Tasks
Progress bar to focus on actionable/relevant parts of the agreement. Clear versioning to easily track internal and external review. Comments focused on clauses. Section-level status and approval.
Collaborative Workflow
Visible team presence and synchronized collaboration. Roles and a clear approval workflow. Differentiation between internal and external review, negotiation, and approval.
Visual Design & Scalability
Design System
We created a complete design system, including components and a style guide, to build a scalable product and ensure consistency throughout.
What I did:
Created the Design System
Developed the Style Guide
Built the Components Library
Iteration
Interactive Prototype
We've developed an interactive, clickable prototype for client demos to test and validate responses effectively.
What I did:
• Designed and built Clickable Prototypes
• Designed Client Demos
Usability Tests
We planned user interviews and conducted usability tests to gather valuable insights on usability.
What I did:
Planned tasks and metrics for testing.
Defined users profiles.
Recruited users.
Wrote interview’s script.
Conducted test (6 users).
Identified usability issues and prepared reports.
Optimized interface design based on user feedback.
